i have 7.1 surround for my PC everythings plugged in right but it only plays out of 5 ive tried everythign and carnt seem to get it to play out of all 7 anyone have any ideas?

all I can think of are the following 4 things:
1) outdated driver / wrong driver 2) plugged in the cables incorrectly / broken cable 3) need to change something in settings 4) it's busted I think 4 is pretty unlikely though  some details like: soundcard, OS, brand & make speakers and driver version/name might help  |

Also if your soundcard driver has a seperate mixer, make sure the volume for all speaker is turned up. My roommate had this issue once.
