To build a garden is very similar to composing poetry or writing an essay. It sparks off one’s imagination to create a beautiful landscape just like being in a beautiful dream.

I read once that gardening is a form of autobiography. Instead of combining letters, words and sentences into the story of your life, gardeners mix color, texture, fragrance and sculpture into a canvass that tells a story of its own. A story that is often times a mirror image to the gardener’s own personality…Got a great Norrathian garden? Know of one? Well, we want to know about it too. Happy Gardening!

 How to participate in the contest:

 Please email your screenshots to this email: soefanart@soe.sony.com with the ‘Screenshot Contest’ in the subject along with your character name and the name of your server,

 Rules:

 

The contest is open to all EQII players and all servers

• The contest is open for home gardens as well as guild hall ones
• One entry per account is allowed
• Each player can present up to 5 screenshots of his or her garden
• The contest starts on May 20, 2009 and ends on June 12, 2009!
• The email should be sent on or before June 12, 2009
• The accepted formats of the images are JPG and PNG
• Every screenshot should have the name of your character, the name of your server and the zone where your garden is found. If you like, you can write a short history about your garden.
• The jury includes members of Community Relations

 

Determination of the winning screenshots:

 The winners will be judged on originality, thematic and creativity

 Prizes:

 3 winners will receive special in-game items
