Get stuck on loading after pressing PLAY. Was wondering if its corrupt files or if server is down, green lights on server status atm

Supposedly the server came down at 8am to start the expansion patch...I quit the game at 7:55. |

U almost downloaded new expansion. U'll see in everquest folders and found files like exp6_*.

well, I hope on steam, but as I know steam restricted russians ip when peeps tried to buy AION. But who knows how it will work with EQ2:SF

well, Akella-online have rights for publishing Everquest2 on russian and they realise SF at 17 feb, but I cant use that keys for euro account, cause russian version cost 18 euros if I remember right

Has anyone actually received their activation code or anything from either DL Gamer or D2D yet?
edit: Nevermind... I realized that you have to go and fetch it yourself when ordering from D2D ... dont know if DL Gamer use same deal. But you have to go and "download" your activation key... check your order confirmation email for details. |

I received my DL activation key for SF about an hour ago and have already registered it. Im periodically downloading now from the startup patcher in the hopes I will get in faster once servers are back up.

Atm i am seeing server locked, But after pressing play i get
Login rejected : The clients version does not match the server's. Pls rerun the patcher. I tried rerunning, and even installed the station launcher and ran that, same result. Is anyone else having this? Any advice on what to do? | |

The advice is very simple actually: they are still transferring data to the EU servers, so you can't patch yet. The transfers will be done in about 2 hours, do a full file scan then, and you should be good to go after patching

Problem is that there are no files to patch yet. They havent transfered any to the EU patch servers yet. Kinda fun when you think about it actually. Normally Euro server people moan and bitch about being patched 1 day later than American based servers.... "baaa waa waa... we get no world wide discos" ... Now they have managed to shut up the EU server community by patching at the same time. Yet, we will have just as few world wide discos, since the Amsterdam server crew are as slow as a snail in a head wind |

You can download the us server files atm by the way. it's just that when you start to patch eu ones it starts to actually unpatch them i think because eu isn't ready yet

gues i should have remembered this in typicial soe fashion eu gets shafted by about 6-10 hours over US servers even when they release the stuff the same day, humm looking at another 6 hours that makes it around 1:30 am in UK or 2:30 am for europe, gues i'll see you all in game tomorrow unless server is back down for maintenance, think its almost ever expansion same old story, if we are luck it may be up and running ny 10pm GMT like TSO was and if my memery serves me ROK as well

Hmm... patching atm. Watching Brenlo talk on the Upsteam thing that was done earlier.
He is talking about Battlegrounds.... aparently BG is restricted by language and patch architecture. Sooo... this means that we at Splitpaw will only be able ot join and fight against ... Runnyeye... and tbh, I am not even sure we can go up against Runnyeye, as it is localized in the US.. or atleast use to. |
