Solo-healed most easy mode content up to and including two-rune Theer, and UD up to and including Rathgar. Done Oxy, but we could never get to Klaaktus first.

Me stuff:

I'm a 25 year old programmer/IT tech living in Dublin, Ireland and have been playing EQ2 on Antonia Bayle for about 9 months now. Started out in the Goone Squad, and then moved on to Tapiolan Sankarit and the Fraternity when I wanted to start raiding. I've been raiding with both TS and Frat for about 7 months now on both my necromancer and fury, and while the guild has been fun to play with, they've recently hit a wall in terms of progression.

They mostly see themselves as a casual guild and there seems to be an impression that attempting hardmode encounters would turn them into a hardcore guild. As a result, the raids fell into a pattern of running easy toxx/labs/palace over and over again until even alts were passing in most of it. While there were a minority of us that wanted to move on to harder stuff, the majority seemed content to run the same stuff repeatedly, and eventually the raids became less and less enjoyable for me. This, coupled with the fact that groups outside of raids had dried up a bit (not to mention that finding a group at GMT primetime can be difficult on American servers), helped me make up my mind to leave.

As a person and a player, I like to challenge myself, as I feel it's the only way that I can discover my strengths and improve on my weaknesses. Personally, I believe in playing smart, not long. I feel that taking a twice-measured approach to an obstacle is often more effective than banging your head against it until it starts to crack (although sometimes there's no substitute for a good head-banging). While I want to see and take down some of the harder encounters that this game has to offer, I don't feel like it has to be a second job that demands five days a week to accomplish.

Outside of raiding I enjoy grouping with like-minded people, watching my miniparse in instances and hearing the "Quest Completed" fanfare, and general chilling out and fun having. I'm always up for exploring the game and trying to take down something big with a small group, or helping people finish off a quest that they can't do alone.

Based on what I've read and the conversation I have with Zlorf, I get the impression that Synergy matches up quite well with what I'm looking for in a guild. Anyway this post is full of blah blah blah and is getting kinda long. I appreciate you taking the time to read this and apologise profusely for any unexpected blackouts that happened as a result. Hopefully I will get the chance to meet and play with you all soon.
